Panama Youth Services at Wakefield Place, a 501C3 organization, was established to provide emergency shelter and residential treatment for youth in crisis. Our program is designed to service male youth 12-17 years old. We are dedicated to providing a safe, clean, nurturing and caring temporary sanctuary.
Our services promote positive encouragement while emphasizing personal accountability. We give options of hope, practical help and proper health services for our clients. Wakefield Place allows a safe atmosphere for youth to begin the process of healing physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Our main objective is to encourage the reunification of families by providing a stable environment for growth. This in turn will foster better communication between child and parent. Panama Youth Services’ emphasis on behavioral, mental health and substance abuse mediation will assist in the healing of families, the community and the individual. We know that through our services, youth will be on the right track to becoming responsible and socially acceptable citizens.
